Venditalia 2010: good results
Venditalia stands out as the main international Vending trade fair, with 271 exhibitors. The majority (89%) of the exhibitors are Italian, due to the fact that Italy is the world’s leading producer and also exporter of vending machines. The remaining 11% of exhibitors are from 14 foreign countries.
Venditalia was visited by 20,000 specialist operators operators during the four-day event. Most visitors are managers and manufacturers of automatic vending products, with foreigners from 91 countries making up 26% of the total.
Visitors consider the fair to be a reflection of the market and a window on the future, with half of them looking for updates, 34% wanting to set up new business partnerships and 9% looking to make purchases.
Intensive promotion by the organisers was evidenced by the high percentage of operators at Venditalia for the first time – 42% of the total.
Venditalia 2010 met the expectations of visitors thanks to the presence of new products, trends and market leaders. 75% gave excellent/good feedback regarding satisfaction levels.
The opinion of companies showing at the fair was also favourable, both for the number and also the quality of visitors. 93% of exhibitors were pleased they took part. As far as regards intention to participate in Venditalia 2012, 98% of exhibitors said they wanted to be at the next edition.
