The Halal marketing is growing and opening new opportunities for vending global growth of the Halal industry

The global Halal market is experiencing rapid expansion and is opening up exciting opportunities for the vending sector.
According to ResearchAndMarkets, the European Halal industry is valued at around $491 billion in 2024 and is expected to surpass $1 trillion by 2033, with an average annual growth rate of over 9%.

This trend is further confirmed by IMARC Group, which forecasts an increase from $396 billion in 2024 to more than $660 billion by 2033.

Beyond meat: the widening Halal product range

Halal growth is not limited to meat-based products. Today, the category also includes dairy, snacks, confectionery, beverages, and frozen foods.

Between 2020 and 2024, new Halal-certified launches grew by an average of 8% per year globally, with particularly strong performance in: bakery, spices, snacks, dairy.

Opportunities for vending: Halal as a strategic drives

Within this scenario, the vending industry has significant growth potential.
Integrating Halal-certified products into vending machines - especially in multicultural urban areas or regions with a high Muslim population - can serve as a key differentiator, building trust and loyalty among consumers.

This is not just about addressing a niche: it’s about reaching a young, international, and quality-conscious consumer base that increasingly values transparency and traceability.

The fact that major international fairs like Anuga have dedicated entire forums to Halal demonstrates the strategic importance of this segment. For vending operators and manufacturers, entering the Halal market means anticipating a trend that, backed by solid numbers, is set to grow significantly in the coming years.
