Which technological trends do you consider most relevant for the evolution of next-generation vending machines (connectivity, user experience, telemetry, AI, efficiency)?
Rather than a trend, connectivity represents the foundation for the modern evolution of product and service delivery via vending machines, while telemetry has served as the entry point for these new technologies in a market that was previously quite technologically static. AI is, and will increasingly be, decisive in user retention and in providing value-added services related to in-machine products (for example, over-the-counter pharmaceuticals or booking connected beauty and paramedical services).
How do your technological solutions help make vending more efficient, connected, and sustainable?
Naviger and Target Informatica have been developing vending management systems for over 30 years and are well aware of how new technologies and connectivity simplify and optimise operational management. The integration of AI into operational management and predictive data analysis, available through GD - Vending Management and WebGeda, provides tangible support to operators, enabling far more efficient management than was previously possible and, consequently, enhancing sustainability. True predictive maintenance and dynamic pricing based on time of day and environmental conditions can deliver immediate benefits and increase profitability.
How important is Venditalia for you as a platform dedicated to technological innovation in the sector, and what are your expectations for the 2026 edition?
Venditalia is essential. Target Informatica and Naviger have participated continuously since 1998, each year presenting new technological solutions within their management systems. Cloud-based, AI-integrated web applications are our daily bread, but also, and above all, those of the hundreds of companies of all sizes that rely on us. We will use Venditalia as an opportunity to convey our enthusiasm for new technologies to both existing and potential clients and to demonstrate the concrete benefits these innovations can deliver.
Venditalia 2026 will take place from May 6 to 8 at Rimini Expo Centre, serving as the reference event for the vending and automatic distribution industry and an unmissable opportunity to discover the latest market trends and innovations.
